Duke von Dillin is a picture perfect 2 year old classic German Shepherd. He’s a mid-energy guy who walks well on leash; if he pulls occasionally, a quick correction reminds him to slow his pace. Duke is very alert to his surroundings – confident and comfortable like he has everything under control. Duke is the independent type who is good at entertaining himself but also enjoys some quiet time and attention from you, which he shows by leaning into you while you pet him. We think this boy is housebroken. In canine playgroups, dominant Duke sniffs all the dogs and then struts around very seriously as if he is in charge; eventually he relaxes and his tail starts wagging. He is a good match for dogs who are submissive. Duke did well on a cat test. He went to each cat, smelled it while wagging his tail and then finally laid down next to one.
